Angeli Yara comes from the heart of Andean Colombia.  For as long as she can remember she has been making things with her hands and, as soon as she could, she started to study jewellery.  After graduating as a jeweller in Bogota, she continued to add techniques, such as enamelling and filigran, to her repetoire.   While travelling in Peru she learnt the delicate process of weaving silver thread into beautiful pieces of jewellery. Now she is based in Margate, Kent. 

 

She is constantly creating new designs in a variety of contemporary styles utilising precious metals and colourful precious stones, expressing part of herself in each and every new piece.  And nothing gives her greater pleasure than seeing someone admiring or, better still, wearing one of her unique creations.
